The in situ TEM Sample Holder provides the platform for connecting the Gas Supply System to the sealed Nano-Reactor inside the vacuum of the TEM. The modular design allows for each vacuum component to be either cleaned or replaced which ensures each new experiment is free from cross-contamination. The highest precision fabrication techniques were used to machine the in situ TEM Sample Holder to perfectly fit the microscopes goniometer.

Modular Design
Clean & contamination free experiments
Maintaining a clean and contamination free environment is critical to in situ microscopy, particularly those in user labs where equipment is shared and different gases are used. Exclusively to the Climate Sample Holder is its modular design and removable tip that allows thorough cleaning or changing on-site by the user. The gas tubing inside the Sample Holder can easily be removed and replaced with new tubing in minutes. In cases where flushing the tubing is not effective, this unique replaceable tubing feature provides the user with a clean experiment and reliability in trusting the results.

Maintaining a clean and contamination free environment is critical to microscopy, particularly those in user labs where the same equipment is shared and different gases used. Exclusively, the Climate Sample Holder has a removable tip and tubing that allows for thorough cleaning or replacing by a fresh component. Also the original tubing material can be removed and replaced by another tubing material (see specifications). Simply flushing of the gas inside the fine tubing is often not adequate, therefore, changing this gas tubing is a real user requirement for a large number of experiments. The Climate holder’s replaceable gas tubing feature allows a user to trust the results of the gas solid experiments every time!

The current Climate Generation 2 released in 2018 will be continually improved and with each new generation release, current Climate users will have the option to upgrade to the latest release.
