DENSsolutions is a fast-growing nanotechnology company active in the field of in situ microscopy and expanding towards various applications. Nanotechnology is considered to be key for meeting the challenges of today’s world in clean technologies, health, semiconductors and climate change.

We are looking for a talented and motivated Operations Manager who will ensure a continuous improvement of our supply chain, particularly from a quality, productivity and efficiency perspective. Furthermore, this person will analyze and improve the organizational processes, ensure that the set vision is met and the formulated company strategy is properly implemented. In this position, you will be a key part of the management team, and therefore a top achiever who is very business-oriented. In this role, you will have the opportunity to deal with challenging goals in an inspiring global working environment with colleagues from many different nationalities.

Skills

  • Required
    • Master’s degree in supply chain or a business-related field (e.g. MBA) with previous Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
    • Proven track record in a scale-up company
    • At least 5 years of experience in operations within the high-tech industry (e.g. MEMS Industry or Precision Engineering)
    • Purchasing and supply-chain management experience
    • Understanding of general finance and budgeting, including profit and loss, balance sheet and cash-flow management
    • Strong analytical, managerial, communication, leadership and negotiating skills
    • Affinity with working in a commercial and scientific environment
    • Professional proficiency level in English, both spoken and written
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

  • Creates higher reliability and efficiency in the supply chain
  • Identifies ways to minimize cost of goods (CoGs) at our suppliers end, while ensuring the highest quality and shortest lead times
  • Analyzes, designs, documents and implements internal reporting systems, operational policies and procedures for the organization
  • Ensures that the vision and strategy of the company is properly executed
  • Ensures there is proper transition between the product creation process and the order fulfilment process
  • Communicates regularly with clients to ensure that they are satisfied with our service level
  • Develops and implements procedures and communication/monitoring schemes with key suppliers to optimize lead times, quality and cost
  • Defines the strategies to create continuous and proper field service and customer support
  • Oversees budgeting, reporting, planning and auditing
  • Ensures all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations
  • Helps promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale
