About the position

We are currently seeking a skilled and driven Marketing Designer & Events Coordinator who will play a crucial role in designing key marketing materials and digital content, as well as handling the smooth and successful planning of both external and internal company events. In this role, you will be working closely with our Marketing Communications (MarCom) Specialist on numerous projects such as exciting product launches, promotional campaigns and conferences. Moreover, you will have the opportunity to deal with stimulating challenges in a global working environment with colleagues from almost 20 different nationalities.

Responsibilities

1) Marketing Design

  • Designing new marketing material for product launches (e.g. product brochures, branded items etc.)
  • Designing our booth graphics at major global in situ microscopy conferences like M&M and EMC
  • Working with our MarCom Specialist to:
    • Improve our current website pages’ content in terms of visuals and text
    • Design new webpages for our product launches
    • Implement new website tools
    • Create the necessary marketing content to implement promotion campaigns
    • Create 3D-rendered product animations for new products (with the help of our Video Renderer)

2) Event/project Coordination

  • Organizing global workshops to promote our products, in alignment with the Product Management team

  • Planning our yearly Sales Meeting involving all of our distributors

  • Organizing multiple internal (team-building) company invents alongside our Marketing Communications Specialist

  • Work with professionals to create a promotional company video, depicting our mission and company values, that will be featured on our website homepage and in company presentations

  • Arranging remote product demonstrations

Skills

Required

    • BSc in a Marketing/Communications field, or a BA in (Graphic) Design
    • 1-2 years of work experience in graphic design, with a portfolio to show
    • Master of graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
    • Hands-on experience with website building tools, like WordPress
    • Experience in project organization and prioritization
    • Structured way of working and highly organized
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Master of Microsoft/Google Suite
    • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances

Desired

      • Knowledge of social media/Google advertising
      • Understanding of the academic environment
      • Experience with video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro and 3D-rendering software like KeyShot
